Dan Cripwell BSc BVSc MRCVS
Having been originally based for my primary school years in south Pembrokeshire I was soon to leave the coastal towns of south west Wales for the sun, sea and sand of Mombasa, Kenya. There I lived with my mum, dad and a vast array of the more exotic types of animal until my return to the UK to attend university. My first port of call was the University of Cardiff where I completed a three year bachelor of science degree in Zoology and from there then headed up north to the University of Liverpool where I attended the veterinary school to finally graduate in mid 2011 not only with a veterinary degree but with a real passion for equine work.
Having now completed a busy six months stint in a fantastic mixed practice in Hay-on-Wye, Hereford, I am delighted to have moved back down to where I originally started to persue my main passion of a career within specialist equine practice. Whenever not at work I like to squeeze in 90 minutes at the nearest football pitch either as a player or spectator or even travel 3 hours up the A40 to the home of Wolverhampton Wanderers if I feel I can take the heartache!
Emily Nicholas BSc (Hons) BVSc MRCVS
Emily was born and brought up in mid-Pembrokeshire, not far from Haverfordwest. She went to school in Sir Thomas Picton School from where she went to Liverpool University in 2003, initially completing a BSc in Bioveterinary science before moving to the veterinary faculty to graduate as a vet in July 2010. Since graduating she has been working in mixed farm and equine practice in Carmarthenshire. From this a keen interest in equine veterinary work developed and she started at Cotts in July 2011. Outside work she enjoys running, water-sports and exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline.
