The Practice
Cotts Farm is currently the only equine hospital in Wales. We have a team of veterinary surgeons and assistants who specialise in equine veterinary work; we also have two full time board-certified specialists, one in internal medicine an the other in surgery. We have thousands of patients registered in West Wales to whom we provide first opinion work and emergency services. We also provide a 24 hour per day 365 days per year specialist referral service to patients from further afield, including Mid-, West, South Wales, Southern Ireland and England.
The Equine Hospital provides diagnostic services, treatment facilities including modern operating theatre suite and safe stable housing. For in-patients and day cases the clinic is easily accessible with a large turning and parking area with direct access to the A40 trunk road. More details of the services and facilities.
Our ambulatory vets are on the road daily to bring routine and more urgent services to the yard.
