Services offered by Cotts Farm Equine Clinic Ltd. include:
- 24 hour per day practice ambulatory service provided by full time equine veterinary surgeons
- Referral service for all internal medicine, surgical and dental cases, inpatient care provided by permanent on-site veterinary surgeons
- Lameness examination and diagnosis, high quality ultrasound, digital radiography (CR), shockwave therapy
- Hospital-based remedial farriery service with Ian Hughes DipWCF
- Surgical referral service provided by a board-certified specialist in equine surgery
- Internal medicine referral service provided by RCVS, European and American board certified specialist in equine internal medicine.
- Surgical and medical colic treatment including full intensive care expertise and facilities
- Video-endoscopic examination for upper airway examination and stomach examination for ulcers (gastroscopy)
- Reproductive services including fresh, chilled and frozen semen artificial insemination, investigation of infertility
- In-house laboratory facilities which offer same-day interpretation and reporting; We do our best to continue this service at weekends and on public holidays, but this service is subject to sufficient notice of sample arrival.
- Isolation facilities for the treatment of infectious diseases, such as diarrhoea and Strangles.
- Official JMB measurement pad and measurer within the practice
- Transport service available to bring your horse to the clinic for routine and emergency appointments
The practice aims to cater for all equine veterinary needs. We have in-house specialist expertise in performance horse work; our clients include a number of large racing stables, show jumping, eventing and showing yards.
