Rachel grew up in the Rhondda Valleys in South Wales, coming from a family of champion clog fighters. She left school and went to Pencoed College where she gained a National Diploma in Animal care. She then left the valleys and moved to Aberystwyth where she lived for the next 5 years whilst studying for a BSc in Equine studies and then an MSc in Equine Science. After running out of qualifications and funds to maintain her Aberystwyth playboy lifestyle Rachel has moved to Cotts as our full time stable manager and groom. She brings with her considerable expertise in equine nutrition and management and has already licked the stables in to shape. In her spare time Rachel likes to keep active on the horse front and is actively breaking a 3 year old. She still indulges in some shin kicking clog contests from time to time to keep her hand in although contests are few and far between in Pembrokeshire. She also enjoys walking and looking after her dog.
