Adam Evans – Remedial Farrier


Adam is Pembrokeshire born and bred.

After completing his full apprenticeship in cheltenham and attending Warwickshire college. Adam then worked as a full time farrier in Welshpool for 2005 farrier world champion, mr jim Blurton, and alongside Mr Ian Hughes at Leahurst university in Liverpool.

Adam travelled part of the world working alongside various farriers in different parts of the world and shows a very keen interest in theraputic and remiedial shoeing, often attending cpd clinics and organising cpd clinics here at cotts equine.

Outside of work Adam enjoys time with his family and the odd rugby match..

Stacey Ward – Groom

Having moved from Cardiff, Stacey has spent the least 10 years working with horses in Pembrokeshire. At Cotts, Stacey helps to look after all the inpatients and helps with lameness investigations etc.  She also has a horse of her own that she rides in her spare time. Her interests outside of work include Photography; especially along the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline and hiking the peaks of Wales all in aid of charity

Sharon Weaver – Yard Manager

Sharon was snapped up by Cotts in 2014 after closing her riding school in Pembrokeshire following 25 years of teaching equitation and stable management to all ages and abilities

Sharon is very experienced with horses and holds BHS stages 1-3, BHS AI and is an NVQ assessor. Previous to this Sharon worked in the British Army in the Royal Corpse of Transport where she was involved in the transport of men and material for the Army and the wider defence community.

Sharon gets most enjoyment from nurturing the very sick horses to a full recovery.
