Equine Veterinary Assistant – 6 Month Sabbatical Cover

Are you passionate about horses and looking for a rewarding role in a supportive team? Cotts Equine, a busy and friendly equine veterinary practice based in beautiful Narberth, Pembrokeshire, is looking for an Equine Veterinary Assistant to join us for a 6-month sabbatical cover.

What the job involves:

• Helping our vets with day-to-day visits and procedures

• Handling and caring for horses in a safe, calm, and confident manner

• Looking after in-patients and keeping the yard running smoothly

• Making sure our kit and clinical areas are clean and ready to go

• Being a supportive extra pair of hands wherever needed!

What we’re looking for:

• Someone confident and experienced with horses of all shapes and sizes

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to muck in

• Reliable, friendly, and happy working as part of a team

• Flexibility with hours (including some evenings/weekends)

• Experience in a veterinary or equine setting would be a bonus, but it’s not essential – we’re happy to provide training
