Job: Yard / Groom Supervisor

Who we are:
Cotts Equine is an RCVS-accredited independent equine practice with a Tier-3 Hospital in Southwest Wales. We provide ambulatory equine services to the whole of South and West Wales, as well as a full referral service for emergency cases and elective internal medicine, orthopaedic and surgical cases.
As a team of 40 and growing, we pride ourselves on being a friendly close-knit team that values employee well-being and organises numerous outside activities together.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day management of the yard, including mucking out
Grooming and handling of horses/donkeys/ponies
Weighing of horses on arrival and discharge
Overseeing of the health and nutrition of in-patients
Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the yard and premises – stables / yard / paddock
General Maintenance of site – such as pressure washing / painting
Hours of Work:
8am Monday to Friday. Duration may vary. To be discussed on application.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working in a similar role with horses
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible / Can do attitude
Drivers licence will be required
