Daisy McKenna-Mannall

BVetMed MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Daisy was born in London and grew up in Bedfordshire, where her love of animals and wildlife began from an early age. She started riding and volunteering at her local riding school at the age of 10, spending much of her time caring for the horses, teaching beginners to ride, and training and competing some of the younger horses in dressage.
Daisy studied Veterinary Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College, where she gained a wide range of equine experience during her clinical years. This included time at Rossdales Equine Practice, volunteering alongside the veterinary team at the London International Horse Show, and completing a research project in racehorse cardiology.
After graduating as a veterinary surgeon in July 2024, Daisy returned home to work at a small animal and exotic animal hospital for two years. During this time, she developed a broad range of clinical skills and particularly enjoyed diagnostic imaging and the investigation and management of medical cases. She also completed a further qualification in osteoarthritis management, reflecting her particular interest in helping older patients remain comfortable and enjoy a good quality of life.
Having always known that her long-term ambition was to work with horses, Daisy made the exciting move to South Wales to join the team at Cotts Equine. She is thoroughly enjoying meeting our patients – including some of the cheekier characters – and getting to know their owners.
Daisy is passionate about providing a high standard of compassionate, individualised veterinary care and is looking forward to continuing to develop her equine veterinary career as part of the Cotts team.
