Chiara earned her DVM from the University of Parma in 2015. After a period as an ambulatory vet in Arezzo, she spent four more years at the Equine Hospital of the University of Perugia, where she worked as a junior clinician developing a special interest for surgery.

During these four years, she also completed a PhD with a project in Equine laryngoplasty.

With the aim to complete a surgical residency, Chiara moved to Dick Vet Equine Hospital, where she completed an 18-month long rotating internship in medicine and surgery.

Chiara has had articles published in peer-reviewed journals.

She joined Cotts in April '22 to begin her surgical residency.
